Just for a bit of fun, who do you think would have been an interesting guest in the Baebes line up ?
Having just watched Siouxsie and the Banshees singing spellbound on youtube, it came to me that she would have added a dark side to the line up.
Admittedly she may not have been one for dressing up in medieaval clothes but it would have been a hoot to see her perform with the Baebes.

Any other ideas ?

PS what has happened to Simon ?
Anyone ?

Siouxsie would probably have fitted in quite neatly, what with the Gothic image & all of that. As for Guest Baebes, the list could be endless but here is but a few:
Mary Black
Enya
Kate Rusby
Loreena McKennitt
Ms Goldfrapp
Shania Twain
Maggie Reilly
Stevie Nicks
Candice Night
Katie Melua
Kate Bush
Caerys Matthews
Maddie Prior................
Cheers, :D

Totally agree with Alison Goldfrapp. Again i'm not sure about the dresses for her. She is more of a short skirt type. My God, my hand was trembling writing that last sentence.

How about Lisa Gerrard ( Dead Can Dance ) ?
She would make an incredible Baebe. What a voice !!

All the best

Would definitely agree with Stevie Nicks and Candice Night (or is she Blackmore now they are hitched?)
Both would work well, I think.

(and thanks for reminding me of Circulus  . One of the few bands who made it up here, and I was on a training course in Dent at the time. grrrr.)

Ooops, almost forgot to add my own suggestion.
Judie Tzuke.

Blimey, Judie Tzuke! I'd almost forgotten about her. I still have three of her albums on those great big black vinyl round things that turn into flower pots if stored near a radiator. "Sports Car" was a jolly fine long playing record, what! :D

I've found myself getting more into the MB's because of my love of neo-folk and the like, so how's about:-

Eugenia Wallace from The Soil Bleeds Black
Francesca Nicoli from Ataraxia
Daniela Bedeski from Camerata Mediolanense
Leithana from Ordo Equitum Solis
Syrah from QNTAL
Marion Musch from Pilori
Joran Elane from Elane (natch)
Laurie Ann Haus from Autumn Tears
Holly Emmer from Bleeding Like Mine
Silke Hofmann from Engelsstaub
Andrea "Nebel" Haugen from Hagalaz' Runedance
Katha from Concrescence

Siouxsie as a baebe lol even the thought makes me wince! I love Siouxsie too bits but i think her and Katharine would end up decapitating each other. I think the girls from Artesia would make fantastic Baebes, theyve allready got the look and the sound! Check out their album "Hilvern" for comfirmation!
