Just thought I'd post a quick 'hi' before falling into lurker mode. I found the Baebes quite by accident earlier this week when I came across a mention of them on another website. I found their music online and fell in love instantly.

There's not much that's interesting enough to share about myself. I sing and play violin/fiddle (the difference is in where and what style you're playing at the time), but am brilliant at neither as I have an aversion to that 'practice' thing you're supposed to do. Other than that, I mainly just go to work and listen to music.

Welcome! I've been a Baebes fan for years and recently saw them live. I became more hooked than I already was. Since I work as an Addiction Counselor I know all the classic signs of denial and I'm not any denial. I totally accept chronic to acute Baebe addiction and love every minute of it. Hope you have fun here.

Welcome!! To echo Toadshade - once you're hooked you'll be a fan for life! You'll find this forum is quiet at the moment as we are all waiting with baited breath for the new DVD to be delivered, but then there will be a barage of entries, both here and on Facebook Group. So, you're not alone , there are lots of other Baebes fans!
Enjoy........

Welcome, as Lady Lavender wrote, things will pick up following the release of the eagerly awaited Gloucester DVD! The concert was fabulous & in exactly the right venue to showcase the Baebes talents & also that of their backing musicians - virtuousi one & all!! Have a dekko at the Mediaeval Sheep whilst you are on FaceBook, Cheers, :D

Hello

I don't know much about FaceBook and couldn't find any mention of it on the links page of www.mediaevalbaebes.com. A Google search found the MB FaceBook page easily enough but I had no such luck trying to find the Mediaeval Sheep page. Are the Mediaeval Sheep somewhere on the MB Facebook site or is it a seperate page. If so, would it be possible to post a link? On the other hand, I couldn't help but notice that your message was posted on 1st April, if this is relevant.

Sorry, I forgot to put the group name in full, it is:
Proud To Be A Mediaeval Sheep
Yes, it will come up if you do a search for it on FB. No, it is not a wind-up. It was formed in response to the slagging off of the CD "Illumination" made by a former-fan-who-shall-not-be-named (you will have to trawl through this forum & the MB's guest book to find out to whom I refer).
Cheers, :D
