When the Baebes are back in the US in late August/early September, the timeframe is just too short to get over to the Northwest. However, that doesn't rule things out for later in the year or early 2010.

Last year Emily emailed the North American fans for venue suggestions in their area. I read through and checked out every venue suggestion Baebes fans had for the US & Canada. Out of well over one hundred responses, only a handful were possible.

Many of the venues were lovely and would make good concert spots - however, they are "rental" venues, and that doesn't work well for us. Or, some of the spaces were 3000 seat concert halls, which is a bit too big a space...for now! But I admire the faith and devotion of fans - especially those that suggested large football arenas. Now, that is a devoted fan!

But, I did check things out, so I don't want folks to think we are ignoring them, or their suggestions!

If anyone lives in the Mid-Atlantic or New England area and knows of a performance space or concert series that may be interested in hosting the Baebes in early September, please contact me at carolynspedden@gmail.com and I certainly will look into it.

If you are elsewhere in the States or Canada, feel free to send me any good thoughts on venues, and we'll keep it in mind for later in the year.
