A video of the original band has appeared on You Tube, taken from a Channel 5 programme in 1997, singing Gaudete.

Apart from Katherine Blake at the right hand end would anybody like to name the line up.

Boniface

Yes, Pat, I agree. This is a very interesting find. It makes you wonder how much video of the original band in live performance exists, it would be good to see more on You Tube. Especially, and I have only just realised this after looking at Sarah's list, there are only 11 of the band in the clip. Ruth Galloway is missing.

Wow! They look so young, so nervous, so underrehearsed but - as ever- they sound amazing!

Is there any more footage lurking around out there on tape, cassette, etc? It could well be time to assemble all of the material before it is scattered by the winds of time! Thoughts on the idea.............

I do believe they're miming......I'd be very surprised if they were singing live on a TV prog.

They sing in this video lip sync with the CD track 'Gaudete' from the Salva-Nos album. I think you're right. (I edited the video for myself and replaced the sound with the CD track and improved the image quality)
